Overall Wellbeing

Merriam Webster defines well-being as the state of being happy, healthy, or successful. We have a great deal of evidence for how mindfulness practices can advance the state of well-being and we are gathering increasing evidence on how mindfulness can increase resilience as well as one's ability to thrive.
Evidence shows that during meditation, metabolism decreases, heart beats slow and muscles relax, breathing slows and blood pressure decreases.
Participants of INIQ report increased well-being.  We understand that increased self-awareness contributes to heightened conscious choice-making which contributes to improved well-being.
